Before you can extract data from Google Analytics through the web interface, you must download and install the Scitylana app on your PC. The app runs as a background Windows service which extracts, transforms and loads data onto your hard drive. You manage the app from the web account, which connects with the app.


The first time you log in to your account, you will see a welcome dialogue which asks you to download the Scitylana app. To download the app, click on the blue Download link in the lower left corner of the dialogue:

You can always re-download by clicking DOWNLOAD in the top menu:


To install the Scitylana app you download and double-click the Scitylana-Setup.exe file. This will take you through an installation wizard, which will ask you to log in to your Scitylana account.

Notice the app runs as a background Windows service and cannot be interacted with directly. Instead you give the app data-extraction instructions from the Scitylana web account.
